URBAN ZAKAPA to Make a Comeback After 4 Years… New EP “STAY” to Be Released Next Month
Vocal group URBAN ZAKAPA (Kwon Soon-il, Jo Hyun-ah, and Park Yong-in) is making their long-awaited comeback after four years.
According to their agency Andrew Company on October 20, URBAN ZAKAPA will officially return on November 3 with a new EP titled “STAY.” This marks their first group release since their 2021 EP.
In the meantime, the members have each been active through solo singles and TV appearances, maintaining a strong presence. Jo Hyun-ah released songs such as “I’ll Give You,” “Softly,” and “Jo Hyun-ah’s Ordinary Thursday Night,” while Kwon Soon-il gained major attention last July when his cover of “Golden” from the K-pop Demon Hunters (K-Demon) OST went viral, topping various popularity charts.
URBAN ZAKAPA’s upcoming EP “STAY” will intricately blend diverse genres such as Pop, R&B, Ballad, and Modern Rock, creating not just a collection of styles but a cohesive, story-driven body of work. The group aims to present sophisticated pop music infused with their signature emotional depth, refined melodies, and distinctive vocal tones.
A representative from Andrew Company stated, “It’s been four years since their last EP, so the members are putting their hearts into this project. We’re preparing a luxurious album that captures URBAN ZAKAPA’s mysterious musical power, their unique and elegant vocal colors, and trendy pop sensibilities.”
