The members of BOYNEXTDOOR (Sungho, Riwoo, Myung Jaehyun, Taesan, Lee Han, and Woonhak) revealed that they knew their new song would be a success the moment they first heard it.
On October 20, the group held a showcase at KBS Arena in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their fifth mini album, “The Action.” The album captures the group’s ambition and determination to take on new challenges as part of their growth.
This comeback marks their first release since their fourth mini album “No Genre” in May. With that album, BOYNEXTDOOR achieved two consecutive million-seller records and made it onto the Billboard 200 for the fourth consecutive time, demonstrating their global momentum.
The title track, “Hollywood Action,” exudes confidence and youthful spirit, embodying the charisma of a Hollywood star. Alongside Myung Jaehyun, Taesan, and Woonhak—who have consistently taken part in songwriting since debut—Lee Han also contributed to the credits for this track.
Regarding his participation, Lee Han shared, “I can honestly say I’ve been waiting for this day. It was a tough process, but working on such a captivating song made it all worthwhile.”
