Hearts2Hearts Reveal SM Director Kangta’s Advice: “Teamwork on Stage Is What Matters Most”
Girl group Hearts2Hearts shared valuable advice they received from SM Entertainment Director Kangta.
On October 20, Hearts2Hearts members Carmen, Jiwoo, Yuha, Stella, Jueun, Eina, Ian, and Yeon held a showcase for their first mini album FOCUS at the Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Hannam-dong, Yongsan, Seoul.
During the event, when asked about the secret behind the group’s famously synchronized choreography, Yeon replied,
“People often compliment us on our sharp and precise dance moves. Jueun unnie usually takes the lead during group practices, helping us stay in sync. At the SM Town concert, Director Kangta told us, ‘What matters most on stage is harmony.’ That really stayed with us.”
Jiwoo added,
“He also told us, ‘Always keep the promises you make to each other,’ and ‘Nothing else matters on stage if you keep your promises.’ I think there’s a lot of meaning behind those words, and that’s why we’re able to perform in such good sync.”
Ian shared,
“All of our members are genuinely passionate about performing, so we really listen to each other’s feedback. I think that’s why so many people appreciate our sharp choreography.”
