BTS member Jimin has once again secured the top spot in the Star Ranking Male Idol category.
In the 208th Star Ranking Male Idol voting, held from 3:01 p.m. on October 16 to 3:00 p.m. on October 23, Jimin claimed first place with 57,976 votes, maintaining his reign for an incredible 208 consecutive weeks.
Coming in next were 2PM’s Junho in second place with 28,786 votes, followed by BTS’s Jin in third with 8,649 votes. BTS’s V and Suga took fourth (5,342 votes) and fifth place (2,339 votes) respectively.
Meanwhile, BTS has confirmed plans for a massive world tour alongside the release of a new album next spring, signaling the long-awaited return of the “21st-century pop icons.” The members are currently focusing on music production and concert preparations.
Star Ranking is a fan-driven voting platform where users directly vote for their favorite stars. Fans who participate via mobile can receive a voting certificate, and depending on the final rankings, stars receive various special benefits based on their placement.
