BTS Jimin’s “Like Crazy” surpasses 1.4 billion streams on Spotify — the first-ever Korean solo song to achieve this milestone
BTS member Jimin’s “Like Crazy” has officially surpassed 1.4 billion streams on Spotify, becoming the first Korean-language solo track in history to do so.
According to Spotify’s latest update on October 26, “Like Crazy” exceeded 1.4 billion total streams, marking an unprecedented record for a Korean solo song. It also achieved the fastest time to reach 1.4 billion streams among all Korean-language tracks on the platform, surpassing BTS’s “My Universe.”
With this milestone, Jimin now becomes the first and only Korean solo artist to have two songs—“Who” from his second album MUSE (which has over 2.087 billion streams) and “Like Crazy”—each surpassing 1.4 billion streams** on Spotify. Across all of K-pop, only BTS and Jimin hold the distinction of having two songs exceed 1.4 billion streams.
Meanwhile, “Like Crazy,” which Jimin co-wrote and co-composed, continues to perform strongly across multiple platforms: its official music video has 174 million views on YouTube, over 1 million Shazams, and more than 129 million streams on Korea’s Melon, demonstrating its enduring global popularity.
