K-pop girl group KISS OF LIFE has revealed their first Japanese single, “Lucky.”
On October 27, the group released a teaser video for their Japanese debut mini-album TOKYO MISSION START through their official Japanese social media channels. The video featured KISS OF LIFE members in iconic Japanese-inspired concepts, including rockabilly and gyaru school uniforms, superheroes, and artists, interacting with items such as lottery balls and fortune cookies. The teaser offered glimpses of the new track, drawing attention to the members as the upbeat, lyrical melody played in the background.
Unlike their previously intense and hip sound, Lucky showcases a cheerful, melodic groove, highlighting the group’s versatility and raising anticipation for their first Japanese release.
TOKYO MISSION START marks KISS OF LIFE’s first overseas album since their debut. In addition to the original title track Lucky, the album includes Japanese versions of their pre-released singles “Sticky,” “Midas Touch,” “Shhh,” as well as remixes of “Nobody Knows” and “R.E.M,” all reimagined with fresh arrangements and lyrics in Japanese.
KISS OF LIFE’s Japanese debut mini-album TOKYO MISSION START is scheduled for release on November 5.
