BTS’s Jungkook has surpassed 19 billion on-demand audio streams, becoming the first and only K-pop solo artist to achieve this milestone, as well as the fastest Asian artist to do so.
Recently, Jungkook reached a total of 19 billion on-demand audio streams worldwide. He is the first and only K-pop solo artist to record 19 billion on-demand audio streams, and he set new records as the fastest Asian artist to reach this number.
Previously, Jungkook surpassed 16 billion on-demand audio streams in February, and just eight months later, he has crossed the 19-billion mark—proving once again his exceptional influence and popularity as a solo artist whom global listeners trust and enjoy.
On-demand streaming refers to a service format where users search for or select the music they want to listen to on a platform. Jungkook achieved an impressive 2.63 billion streams with his solo single “Seven,” becoming the first Asian artist to set such a record on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform.
Jungkook also has four songs on his Spotify account that have surpassed 1 billion streams (Seven, Left and Right, Standing Next to You, 3D), marking another record as the first and most among Asian solo artists.
Across all his credits, Jungkook’s Spotify profile has accumulated 9.9 billion total streams—once again setting records as the fastest Asian artist and the first K-pop soloist to reach this achievement.
