Boy group BTS members Jin and J-Hope have swept global charts with their solo tours.
According to the latest announcement by U.S. concert industry outlet Pollstar, Jin and J-Hope ranked the highest among Korean solo artists on the Top 20 Global Concert Tours and Asia Focus Charts: Top Touring Artists. They were also the only Korean solo acts to appear on these charts.
Jin placed 14th on the Top 20 Global Concert Tours with his solo fan concert “#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR,” held from June to August. This chart is based on average box office revenue per city. Jin’s shows in Goyang, South Korea, as well as Chiba and Osaka in Japan, all sold out. In particular, his Kyocera Dome Osaka shows achieved a “perfect sellout,” filling even the highest 8th-floor seats and restricted-view sections—an exceptional feat for a Korean solo artist.
Jin also set new records in the United States and Europe. He became the first Korean solo artist to perform at the O2 Arena in London, and his show at the Honda Center in Anaheim drew the largest audience ever for a Korean artist. He additionally became the first Korean solo artist to completely sell out the American Airlines Center in Dallas.
