Kakao Entertainment’s music platform Melon announced the final lineup for The 17th Melon Music Awards (MMA 2025), set to take place on Saturday, December 20, at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome, confirming the appearances of Jennie and aespa. Earlier this year in March, Jennie released her first full-length solo album, Ruby, showcasing her identity and limitless musical potential to the world. Ruby was consecutively recognized by major international media as one of the “Best Albums of 2025,” receiving widespread acclaim in the global music market. The title track, like JENNIE, captivated listeners worldwide with its confident lyrics and powerful performance unique to Jennie.
Notably, like JENNIE entered the Melon TOP100 chart immediately after its release and has remained on the chart for nine months, achieving 14 daily chart-topping positions, demonstrating its strong digital performance.
Having had a remarkable year embracing both her solo identity and her career as a Blackpink member, Jennie is expected to electrify the stage at MMA 2025 with her global influence and charisma, delivering a memorable performance at Gocheok Dome.
