With BLACKPINK’s third Tokyo Dome concert just a month away, welcome events are appearing throughout major areas of Japan.
According to YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK (Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, Lisa) launched a special light-up event in collaboration with Kobe Port Tower from December 1 to January 18. The project was planned to commemorate their upcoming Tokyo Dome concerts, scheduled for January 16–18, 2026. The “Pink Light-Up” campaign will then expand sequentially to major towers across Japan. Beginning in Kobe, the city’s landmark Port Tower and its surrounding district are being transformed into a “BLACKPINK Spot,” soaking the entire area in pink. Visitors can encounter BLACKPINK-themed visuals throughout the streets, along with various interactive experiences.
On the 5th-floor rooftop observatory of Port Tower, a photo zone has been created featuring continuous BLACKPINK visuals. Visitors can walk the entire circular route from the entrance while filming, resulting in a final video that resembles a complete image film. Additional content includes a photo exhibition of their world tour moments and a café offering limited-edition menu items inspired by BLACKPINK’s signature colors. The site drew massive crowds from the first day.
This marks BLACKPINK’s third entry into Tokyo Dome following their 2019 and 2023 shows. It is their first solo concert in Japan in about 2 years and 9 months, and local fans’ excitement is at its peak. To celebrate the world tour, relay pop-up stores have been opening in major department stores across Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Nagoya since July. Nine LOFT lifestyle stores across Japan are also hosting pop-ups, continuing to attract steady foot traffic and demonstrating the group’s enduring popularity.
Starting with their historic July performance at Goyang Sports Complex—the first ever by a K-pop girl group—BLACKPINK is currently holding their “BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR <DEADLINE>” across 16 cities with 33 shows. After successfully completing their North American and European concerts, they are now connecting with fans across Asia.
