NCT members Doyoung and Jungwoo will enlist together.
According to their agency SM Entertainment, Doyoung is scheduled to enlist on the 8th as an active-duty Army soldier, while Jungwoo has been accepted into the Army military band and will also enlist on the same day. The agency stated, “There will be no separate event on the day of enlistment. As the site will be shared with many soldiers and their families, we kindly ask fans to refrain from visiting for safety reasons.”
On the 7th, Jungwoo prepared for his enlistment by cutting his blonde hair. At the salon, the staff even arranged the cut hair to spell “Doyoung Jungwoo Enlistment.” He also held a small farewell party, receiving a cake with the message, “Doyoung, Jungwoo, stay healthy and let’s meet again. Fighting!”
Last April, member Taeyong enlisted in the Navy, and in November of the same year, Jaehyun began service in the military band. With Doyoung and Jungwoo enlisting together today, they become the third NCT members to begin their mandatory military service.
