Lim Young-woong has once again proven his strength as a digital music powerhouse by placing 15 songs on the Billboard Korea Hot 100 and seven songs on the Billboard Korea Global K-Songs Top 100 for the fourth week of December.

The two new charts were officially launched on December 3 by Billboard Korea in collaboration with Billboard’s U.S. headquarters to showcase the current state of K-music and its global influence. The newly introduced charts—Billboard Korea Global K-Songs and Billboard Korea Hot 100—represent the first official attempt to comprehensively track how K-music is consumed in the global music market. The charts have now released their third weekly results.

These new charts are part of a K-music project led by Billboard, under Penske Media Corporation (PMC), in the Korean market. They were designed through close cooperation between Billboard’s U.S. headquarters and Billboard Korea, balancing the expertise of Billboard’s global chart system with the unique characteristics of Korea’s music ecosystem.

The Billboard Korea Global K-Songs chart is a global songs chart that officially reflects the popularity of K-music consumed worldwide. It is based on global streaming and purchase data, including Korea, and illustrates how K-music spreads and performs in the international market.

The Billboard Korea Hot 100 is a domestic-focused songs chart that highlights the most popular tracks in Korea. Regardless of language, it tracks which songs are currently most listened to by the Korean public.
