IVE’s An Yujin, widely regarded as an “MZ generation wannabe icon,” has delivered a special year-end gift to DIVE, the group’s official fan club.
Starship Entertainment recently released a video titled “K-CAROL Covered by IVE ANYUJIN” on IVE’s official YouTube channel. In the video, An Yujin appears in a school uniform and coat against a karaoke-room backdrop, evoking memories of her school days and delighting fans. The addition of a vintage screen effect further enhances the nostalgic mood.
An Yujin then presents a medley of popular Korean year-end songs. From EXO’s “First Snow” to Fin.K.L’s “White” and Wonder Girls’ “Be My Baby,” she reinterprets beloved classics through her own sensibility, captivating listeners with her clear and refreshing vocal tone.
She adds excitement by spontaneously performing simple choreography, while her expressive facial expressions and lively performance bring stage-like energy to the screen. Despite performing alone, she delivers a complete and engaging performance. Additionally, she modified the lyrics to sing, “It’s already been four years since we met,” expressing her affection for IVE and DIVE as they celebrate their fourth anniversary.
