BTS member Jimin has once again solidified his status as a leading K-pop artist by setting a new historic record on Spotify’s U.S. charts.
Jimin’s solo track “Who,” the title song from his second solo album MUSE, ranked No. 46 on the Spotify U.S. Daily Top Songs Chart dated December 28, marking 500 days on the chart. “Who” is the first and only K-pop solo song to achieve this milestone. The song also holds the record as the first and only K-pop solo track to reach No. 1 on the Spotify U.S. Daily Top Songs Chart without any collaboration with international artists, and it is now the only K-pop solo song to have remained on the chart for 500 days.
In addition, “Who” has spent 72 weeks on Spotify’s U.S. Weekly Top Songs Chart, continuing to extend the record for the longest-charting K-pop solo song on that chart.
Previously, on September 7, “Who” became the first and only K-pop song to surpass 400 million filtered streams on Spotify’s U.S. chart. It has now reached a total of 442.82 million filtered streams, further expanding the record for the most-streamed K-pop song on Spotify’s U.S. chart.
Meanwhile, “Who” has also become the first K-pop song to enter the Top 100 of Spotify U.S. Chart’s All-Time Most-Streamed Songs list, currently ranking No. 82. Through these achievements, Jimin continues to demonstrate unmatched success, standing out as the most successful K-pop artist on Spotify’s U.S. charts, which represent the platform’s largest user base.
