BTS member Jimin’s solo track “Filter” has achieved a new milestone, continuing its global success.
“Filter,” Jimin’s solo song from BTS’s fourth full-length album Map of the Soul: 7, released in 2020, surpassed 500 million streams on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform, on January 6. The track ranks as the third most-streamed song on the album, following the title track “ON” and the pre-release single “Black Swan.” It also holds the record for the most-streamed BTS solo song on Spotify.
On Melon, Korea’s leading music platform, “Filter” has accumulated 136.6 million streams, making it the most-streamed solo track among all songs credited to BTS members. Despite not having an official music video, the song’s audio track on YouTube has recorded over 131 million views. Additionally, “Filter” has surpassed 620,000 listens on the global music discovery app Shazam, demonstrating its sustained popularity both domestically and internationally.
In July 2024, “Filter” topped the iTunes Top Songs charts in 119 countries and regions worldwide, achieving an “all-kill.” With this accomplishment, BTS became the first group in history to achieve a worldwide No. 1 all-kill on the iTunes Top Songs chart.
