BOYNEXTDOOR has firmly established its reputation as a digital chart powerhouse on year-end rankings.
According to Melon’s 2025 Year-End Chart released on January 8, BOYNEXTDOOR’s song “Only Today I LOVE YOU” ranked No. 12, the highest position achieved by any male idol group. The group—comprised of Sungho, Riwoo, Myung Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak—has dominated multiple year-end charts with the track, showcasing its widespread popularity.
“Only Today I LOVE YOU” placed No. 4, the highest among K-pop groups, on TikTok Korea’s “Year in Music” annual recap. On Apple Music Korea’s “Top 100 of the Year,” it recorded No. 7, the highest ranking among all boy groups. The song also appeared on Spotify Korea’s “Top Tracks 2025” list as part of its Wrapped year-end summary.
The track has also drawn significant global attention. It ranked No. 6 on The Hollywood Reporter’s “The 40 Best K-Pop Songs of 2025.” The publication praised the song, stating, “This is one of the most successful K-pop songs in Korea in 2025. BOYNEXTDOOR is a group to watch going forward.” In addition, the song was selected by Forbes for its list of “Critically Acclaimed K-Pop Songs of 2025,” included in Amazon Music’s “Best of 2025” K-pop category, and named in NME’s “25 Best K-Pop Songs of the Year.”
Despite being released in January of last year, “Only Today I LOVE YOU” continues to perform strongly on current charts. The song ranked No. 32 on Melon’s latest weekly chart (tracking period: December 29, 2025 – January 4, 2026), rising from No. 44 following the group’s year-end special performances. During the same period, it also climbed 15 spots to No. 33 on the Bugs weekly chart, demonstrating its sustained popularity.
