Actor Kim Bum is challenging the Rocco genre for the first time since his debut.

On the afternoon of the 15th, a production presentation for SBS's new Wednesday-Thursday drama "I Sold Out Today" (scripted by Jin Seung-hee) was held at SBS in Mok-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul. Producer Ahn Jong-yeon, actors Ahn Hyo-seop, Chae Won-bin and Kim Beom attended, with broadcaster Park Kyung-rim as the MC.

"I Sold Out Today" is a seasonal romance drama in which perfectionist farmer Matthew Lee (aka Quail) and sold-out show host Dam Ye-jin are intertwined day and night. Ahn Hyo-seop plays Matthew Lee, Chae Won-bin plays Dam Ye-jin, and Kim Bum plays Seo Eric, executive director of global skincare brands.

Regarding his challenge to the Rocco genre 20 years after his debut, Kim Bum said, "I think he waited to meet 'I sold out today'."

"It was a genre that I personally wasn't confident in. The genre has a delicate setting, so there was something made in the script even if I didn't make up something. But I think the romance genre is a delicate genre, so I kind of avoid it," he confessed.

"There were so many things in the script in this drama that I was able to create a more colorful character named Eric," he said. I also saved the color of Mocha Gold, which symbolizes the rich, for this drama," he said.

Meanwhile, "I Sold Out Today" will premiere at 9 p.m. on the 22nd.
