SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama "Department Head Kim" showcases the action chemistry between Choi Dae-hoon and Yoon Kyung-ho.

This will be revealed through the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Department Head Kim," which premieres on June 26 (Friday) at 9:50 p.m. (screenplay by Nam Dae-jung, directed by Lee Seung-young and Lee So-eun, planned by Studio S, produced by Studio S, Fantagio).

This drama is a father-universe revenge action story in which a father, "the most ordinary in the world," becomes "the most dangerous man in the world" to fight to reclaim his only daughter. Choi Dae-hoon plays Sung Han-soo, a father who was a secret agent and a taekwondo gold medalist, described as an "extraordinary person." Yoon Kyung-ho plays Park Jin-cheol, a father of Da-bin and a former secret agent known as the "god of the battlefield." According to the production team, the two, who appear as long-time friends of Department Head Kim (So Ji-sub), will showcase a chemistry based on dimensionally different action and fatherly love.

On the 16th, the production team released scenes from the drama featuring Choi Dae-hoon and Yoon Kyung-ho. The scene depicts Sung Han-soo (Choi Dae-hoon) and Park Jin-cheol (Yoon Kyung-ho), who were having a drink with Department Head Kim, getting involved in a conflict. It shows Park Jin-cheol roaring, and Sung Han-soo roaring even louder to quell Park Jin-cheol's struggles, intertwining and turning the scene into a wasteland.

The production team stated, "Choi Dae-hoon and Yoon Kyung-ho shot the scenes smoothly thanks to their excellent chemistry, delivering a perfect synergy. Choi Dae-hoon elevated immersion by performing a grounded acting style that instantly built tension with his booming voice that dominated the set, while Yoon Kyung-ho raised expectations for his performance as an action weapon with his powerful, full-body action."

They added, "Choi Dae-hoon and Yoon Kyung-ho seamlessly transition between self-sacrificing action and cheerful grounded acting, firmly supporting the two pillars of the 'father universe.' Please look forward to their unique transformations in 'Department Head Kim.'"
