Actor Hyun Bin shared his thoughts on the box office expectations for 'Made in Korea 2'.

On the morning of the 2nd, a production presentation for Disney+ original series 'Made in Korea Season 2' was held at Conrad Hotel in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. Director Woo Min-ho and actors Hyun Bin, Jung Woo-sung, Woo Do-hwan, Seo Eun-soo, Won Ji-an, Jung Sung-il, Noh Jae-won, and Cha Hee attended the event.

Hyun Bin plays Baek Ki-tae, a character racing toward the peak of power; Jung Woo-sung portrays Jang Geon-young, who returns for revenge; and Woo Do-hwan takes on the role of Baek Ki-hyun, facing a choice between family and conviction. Seo Eun-soo plays Oh Ye-jin, South Korea's first female prosecutor; Won Ji-an plays Ikeda Yushi, who aims to take over Kumi-cho's position; Jung Sung-il portrays Cheon Seok-jung, who wields unchecked power; Noh Jae-won plays Bak Hak-su of the Central Intelligence Agency's BusanJi Bu (Director) branch; and Cha Hee acts as Baek So-young, the mastermind behind illegal business operations.

On this day, when asked about the focus areas for his role in the new work, Hyun Bin stated, "Baek Ki-tae has climbed to a higher position but still dreams of even greater desires. He finds himself in a situation that is lonely, sad, and dangerous amidst conflicts with other characters. I paid special attention to portraying these two complex aspects."

Regarding box office expectations, he said, "There are some concerns, but I hope viewers who enjoyed Season 1 will also give Season 2 their support. Since Season 2 offers a much deeper story than the first season, audiences should be able to enjoy it with greater immersion."

Meanwhile, Season 1, released on December 24 last year, depicted the confrontation between Baek Ki-tae (played by Hyun Bin), a Central Intelligence Agency agent living a double life as a smuggler, and Prosecutor Jang Geon-young (played by Jung Woo-sung) who is tracking him. Returning approximately nine months later, Season 2 follows Baek Ki-tae's precarious journey as he races toward even greater desires nine years after the events of the previous installment. Starting from the 9th, two episodes will be released weekly on Wednesdays via Disney+.
