Yoo Yeon-seok and Seo Hyun-jin face off in a breath-holding confrontation in 'Liar.'

MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Liar' (Planner: Lee Dae-yong / Director: Jo Young-min / Screenwriter: Baek Jae-young / Production: Film House, Kakao Entertainment) premieres at 9:50 p.m. on October 30. 'Liar' tells the story of a man and a woman who make diametrically opposed claims over a single memory, clashing fiercely as they pursue the truth. The drama promises the birth of a well-made psychological thriller, blending an intriguing premise and storyline with delicate, stylish direction and highly immersive performances from the cast.

In this context, the main teaser for 'Liar' was released on the 15th. The teaser captures the rapidly shifting relationship between the two protagonists, Yoo Yeon-seok (as Min Jun-ho) and Seo Hyun-jin (as Kang Ji-sun), along with their intense confrontation and psychological warfare, at a storm-like pace, heightening curiosity and anticipation for the drama.

The main teaser begins with Yoo Yeon-seok's and Seo Hyun-jin's 'perfect first date.' Physical contact begins cautiously, accompanied by excitement. However, the atmosphere shifts 180 degrees alongside Seo Hyun-jin's narration: "Because you can't know what lies even an inch ahead in life." The romantic mood vanishes entirely, giving way to a tense battle of truths between Yoo Yeon-seok and Seo Hyun-jin. Police officer Ok Ja-yeon (played by Lee Hwa-young) joins the fray, further intensifying the confusion surrounding 'the truth of that day.'

Eventually, Yoo Yeon-seok and Seo Hyun-jin find themselves in a situation where they "can't even trust the people they trusted." At this point, the enigmatic expressions of Kim Ji-hyun (as Kang Ji-eun), Lee Chun-hee (as Kim Hyeong-soo), and Oh Dong-min (as Park Jung-hyun) appearing on screen evoke a mysterious atmosphere. As the battle of truths escalates, the tension reaches its peak as Yoo Yeon-seok and Seo Hyun-jin are captured running and collapsing, engaging in physical confrontations without holding back. The 'Liar' main teaser concludes by leaving a strong question: what exactly happened to the two protagonists 'that day'?

The main teaser presents the battle of truths between the two protagonists, Yoo Yeon-seok and Seo Hyun-jin, more intuitively than the previous first and second teasers, capturing the attention of prospective viewers and sparking curiosity about the unusual development of the plot. Above all, the powerful performances of actors Yoo Yeon-seok and Seo Hyun-jin, who change dramatically depending on the situation, drew admiration. It is expected that 'Liar,' which is so special in just 40 seconds, will deliver an even more powerful story in the full drama.

MBC's 'Liar Premiere' will air at 11:50 p.m. on the 15th.
