Film poster designer Park Si-young denied rumors that she had suspended her activities.

On the 15th, Park posted on her personal social media, "I never even started an activity, so how can I suspend it?" while sharing a screenshot of a news article regarding her alleged "declaration to suspend activities."

She then uploaded a selfie of herself laughing with the caption, "It's been six hours, but is it okay if I resume my activities?", making viewers burst into laughter.

Earlier that same day, Park had stated, "I have decided to stop doing YouTube and interviews for the time being. I will only fulfill commitments already made, and while I would naturally agree if friends asked me, I will not attend any newly invited events," which led to speculation about a suspension of her activities.

She appealed, saying, "My freedom is the most important value in my life. I am losing it. It was just chattering from when I came back from working in the fields in the morning, as there is no one to talk to in this remote rural area. What is the big deal? I used to feel free, but now it doesn't feel like chatting; it feels like reporting. The freedom of my heart, intertwined with the demands of those who consume my awkwardness and my character, is draining me."

Park then reflected on her past. "To be honest, I have attracted a lot of attention over the years with NewJeans, HYBE, coming out, and assassins," Park said. "What do I have to fear from kids who spend all day posting garbage on internet communities or Twitter? They are trivial and ridiculous. I know what kind of people those kids are in the real world, so it doesn't stress me much. I just want to do some good deeds and maybe accumulate some points for heaven, just in case."

Earlier, Park had come out on her personal social media in April last year by unexpectedly revealing her same-sex partner, with whom she has been in a relationship for about 15 years. At the time, she confessed, "My heart has been boiling for all 15 years. I feel like I am going crazy from happiness. Seeing that there is someone like our partner in this world makes me think that God must exist too. For this love, I don't think there is anything in the world I would not do. If anyone defames this love, I will kill them all."

Park is a popular designer who has been in charge of producing posters for famous domestic works, including the film "The Man Who Lives with the King" (abbreviated as "Wang Sa Nam").
