In the drama 'Liar,' Yoo Yeon-seok was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault following a report filed by Seo Hyun-jin.

The MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Liar,' which aired its first episode on the 30th, depicted Kang Ji-sun (played by Seo Hyun-jin) and Min Jun-ho (played by Yoo Yeon-seok) claiming different memories after their first date.

On this day, Kang Ji-sun formed a connection with Min Jun-ho, the father of her student Min Hyeon-su (played by Kang Ji-yong). Min Jun-ho expressed his gratitude to Kang Ji-sun for helping his son and proposed dinner, but Kang Ji-sun declined, stating that it was difficult to meet privately with a parent.

However, the two later coincidentally met at the seaside and agreed to have dinner together. Min Jun-ho gifted a bouquet of flowers to Kang Ji-sun on their first date, and the two enjoyed a warm atmosphere while drinking wine.

But the situation changed completely the next morning. Kang Ji-sun woke up in pain and checked a message from Min Jun-ho that read, "Thank you for inviting me to your house last night." Subsequently, Kang Ji-sun burst into tears while showering and did not answer Min Jun-ho's calls. Ultimately, without going to work at the school, she sought out her older sister, Kang Ji-eun (played by Kim Ji-hyun), and confided in her about what had happened the previous night.

Kang Ji-sun said, "I don't remember much. I only remember fragments," adding, "It seems like I drank a lot of alcohol, but it's not because of the alcohol." She continued, "We were talking on the sofa at my house and then went to the bed? I think I told him not to do it. I really didn't have those feelings," while shedding tears.

When Kang Ji-eun asked, "Did you say no?" Kang Ji-sun replied, "I don't know either. I just can't remember," and sobbed. Kang Ji-eun defended Min Jun-ho, whom she had known for a while, mentioning the possibility of a misunderstanding. In response, Kang Ji-sun became angry, saying, "A misunderstanding? You're saying I might have been mistaken? It's not because of the alcohol. Why don't you believe me?"

Kang Ji-sun stated, "I didn't want to go all the way to sleeping together on our first date. And with a parent," declaring, "I'm going to report it."

Ultimately, Kang Ji-sun reported the incident to the police, and Senior Inspector Lee Hwa-young (played by Ok Ja-yeon) from the Women and Youth Division went to the hospital where Min Jun-ho works. Min Jun-ho was arrested with handcuffs on for the crime of sexual assault.

Subsequently, during the police investigation, Min Jun-ho provided a statement completely different from Kang Ji-sun's. Min Jun-ho claimed that after finishing their date, he encountered rain in front of Kang Ji-sun's house, and Kang Ji-sun invited him to her home, offering to call a taxi for him. He further explained that while they were drinking wine at the house, they naturally shared a kiss.

However, the two's statements diverged regarding who initiated the kiss. Kang Ji-sun claimed that Min Jun-ho kissed first, saying, "Of course, it was him." On the other hand, Min Jun-hon countered that Kang Ji-sun kissed first, stating, "It was her. I'm sure of it. Because I was also surprised inside."

Kang Ji-sun, who claimed to be a victim of sexual assault after their first date, and Min Jun-ho, who presented different memories. The two's statements directly conflicted, heightening curiosity about the future development of the story.

Meanwhile, 'Liar' is a drama depicting the story of a man and a woman who make diametrically opposite claims over a single memory and fiercely clash toward the truth.
