A subtle tension was detected between Kim Yoo-jung and Park Jin-young in 'The 100-Day Lie'.

The production team of tvN's 20th-anniversary special weekend drama 'The 100-Day Lie' (screenplay by Ryu Bo-ri, directed by Yoo In-sik and Kim Yun-jin) released photos of Lee Ga-kyung (played by Kim Yoo-jung) and Sato Hideo/Kim Tae-woong (played by Park Jin-young) on a post-work date on the 31st, ahead of the broadcast of Episode 7.

In the previous episode, Lee Ga-kyung and Sato Hideo shared a tearful embrace in the rain. Geum Seok-jung (played by Kam Woo-sung) was shot and killed by Sato Shinichi (played by Jin Sun-kyu), plunging Lee Ga-kyung into profound shock and grief. Sato Hideo, who had watched everything from nearby, walked Lee Ga-kyung home and asked if she was okay. In response, Lee Ga-kyung said, "No, I'm not okay," and leaned into his arms, finally letting out the tears she had been trying to hold back.

Amid this, the two, who had only met in the office every day, spent time together alone for the first time after work. The released photos show Lee Ga-kyung and Sato Hideo walking side by side on a night street in Jongno, evoking a subtle sense of excitement. The destination was an atmospheric bar. Lee Ga-kyung's rapturous expression at her first sip of beer and Sato Hideo's intrigued gaze at her scene elicited smiles from viewers.

However, a distinctly different atmosphere soon settled between the two. Their deepened gazes as they faced each other added to the excitement, sparking curiosity about what conversations took place between them.

The production team of 'The 100-Day Lie' stated, "In Episode 7, airing today, Sato Hideo opens up to Lee Ga-kyung for the first time. Please pay attention to the changes in Lee Ga-kyung and Sato Hideo as they share their true feelings without lies or suspicion, and grow closer by sharing similar yet different pasts."

Meanwhile, Episode 7 of 'The 100-Day Lie' airs at 9:10 p.m. on the 31st.
