Another change is on the horizon for Kim Yoo-jung and Park Jin-young in "The 100-Day Lie."

Ahead of the broadcast of Episode 6, the production team of tvN's weekend drama "The 100-Day Lie" (directed by Yoo In-sik and Kim Yun-jin, written by Ryu Bo-ri) released stills on the 25th depicting what happens after Lee Ga-kyung (played by Kim Yoo-jung) declares her intention to give up being a spy. A subtle shift is sensed in the scene where Lee Ga-kyung and Sato Hideo (the character of Kim Tae-woong, played by Park Jin-young) exchange meaningful glances amid soft lighting.

In the previous episode, after an assassination attempt on Sato Shinichi (played by Jin Seon-gyu), Lee Ga-kyung was eventually captured following a period of flight and hiding, and became the interpreter for the interrogation of Geum Seok-jung. Witnessing brutal torture and violence there, and feeling the grim threats and pressure from Fukuda (played by Kim Jung-hee), Lee Ga-kyung decided to quit her spy activities.

Above all, Lee Ga-kyung's confusion and awakening deepened after she learned about the relationship between Yoo So-ran (played by Kim Hyeon-joo) and Geum Seok-jung. Ignoring the final warning that traitors would be executed, the scene revealed Yoo Philip (played by Lee Mu-saeng) hiding a pistol behind Lee Ga-kyung's back, with Yoo So-ran watching on, raising viewers' heart rates.

In the released stills, Lee Ga-kyung and Sato Hideo stand facing each other at an almost touching distance. A subtle tension and dizzying excitement are conveyed as neither person looks away, quietly gazing into each other's eyes.

Furthermore, a moment was captured where Lee Ga-kyung's gaze wavers, appearing startled by something. Sato Hideo's urgent gesture, trying to hold onto her, also draws attention. Curiosity builds over what decisive moment will break the current of excitement between the two.

Sato Hideo, who felt worry and regret for having put Lee Ga-kyung in danger alone, but simultaneously bore a sense of responsibility to prevent foreign media reports, inadvertently leaving wounds. Expectations are high as to whether their previously divergent true feelings can reach each other again. In particular, attention is focused on Lee Ga-kyung's line from the previous teaser, "Shall we quit, Mr. Yoo Philip?"—whether it will be another lie or finally revealed sincerity remains to be seen.

In Episode 6, airing on the night of the 25th, Yoo So-ran gives Lee Ga-kyung the mission to win Sato Hideo's heart, while Sato Shinichi orders Sato Hideo to gain Lee Ga-kyung's trust. Meanwhile, after a private meeting with Geum Seok-jung, Sato Shinichi's suspicion regarding the identity of Geum Seo-hee (who is Lee Ga-kyung) grows even stronger.

The production team of "The 100-Day Lie" stated, "Lee Ga-kyung has reached a decisive turning point as a spy. Please watch to see what decision she will make, the reasons behind her choice, and her future actions." They added, "Please look forward to whether 'sincerity' can work in the relationship between Lee Ga-kyung and Sato Hideo, who are still entangled in lies and suspicion toward each other."

Episode 6 of "The 100-Day Lie" airs at 9:10 p.m. on the night of the 25th.
