Actor Jung Yong-hwa is showcasing a wide range of emotional performances.

Jung Yong-hwa plays Um Tae-bong, a top-star "melodrama master" who cannot film a kiss scene, in Lifetime's new weekend drama "Bottomless, It's You" (hereinafter referred to as "Bottomless"). In the role, he delivers a performance that moves fluidly between comedy and sincerity.

In previous episodes, Um Tae-bong was shown navigating a crisis in which he is threatened by an assailant, as well as gradually growing closer to Oh Hae-ra (played by Hong Seung-hee), who has been hired as his secret bodyguard, through their constant bickering. Amid these developments, Jung Yong-hwa added comedic appeal with his nonchalant expressions and natural chemistry with other characters in scenes where he grapples with Oh Hae-ra or reacts to unexpected situations.

On the other hand, in a scene in which Um Tae-bong visits the columbarium of his deceased older manager brother, Jung Yong-hwa shifted the tone with a solemn emotional performance. He delicately portrayed Um Tae-bong's longing and tenderness for a precious person he has lost, leaving behind a poignant aftertaste.

Meanwhile, "Bottomless, It's You," in which Jung Yong-hwa appears, airs on Lifetime every Saturday and Sunday at 10:50 p.m. The series is also available domestically on TVING and LG Channels, and internationally on Viu and Lemino.
