Actress Im Ji-yeon expressed her gratitude toward Heo Nam-jun.

On the 17th, Im Ji-yeon, who garnered attention for her role as Shin Se-ri in the global hit 'Beautiful World', appeared on the tvN variety program 'You Quiz on the Block' and revealed behind-the-scenes stories from the filming.

That day, Im Ji-yeon spoke about her chemistry with Heo Nam-jun, who played Cha Se-gye, saying, "We talked so much on set that the director was worried. While chatting, we didn't discuss acting much; instead, we attacked each other," which drew laughter.

She also revealed that Heo Nam-jun went all out to look good on screen, drawing attention.

Im Ji-yeon said, "In romantic comedies, it is important for the male lead to perform charming actions, look handsome, or appear sexy. Because Se-gye must live for Se-ri to live. The only thing we always talked about was, 'I gave up the backlight. Do you know you're getting all the lighting?'"

When Yoo Jae-suk agreed, saying, "That's true. If the other person does well, I do well too," Im Ji-yeon added, "In romantic comedies, the chemistry between the male and female leads is crucial. I thought it would be great if Nam-jun, who is such a charming actor, was captured well."

She continued, "It's always good if the actors' chemistry is great in every production, but it's not always possible. Meeting Heo Nam-jun as a partner with whom I could communicate without hesitation felt like a miracle. In the production, there were many moments when my body and mind were on the verge of collapse due to the heavy workload and responsibility. Every time, Nam-jun encouraged me like a vitamin. Although I am the senior, I relied on him greatly. I am glad that Se-gye was Nam-jun."
