Jeon Hyun-moo shared his thoughts on taking on his first thriller variety show.

On the 10th, a production announcement for MBN and SBS Plus's new variety program 'The Psychopath I Met' (abbreviated as 'Nae-sa-pae') was held online. The event was attended by PD Joo Hee-jin, along with MCs broadcasters Jeon Hyun-moo, singer Kyuhyun, Naksal, and Heo Young-ji.

'The Psychopath I Met' is a fact-based thriller talk program that deals with real-life experiences of encountering anti-social personalities such as psychopaths, sociopaths, and narcissists hiding around us. It plans to deliver an immersive experience distinct from existing crime variety shows by combining reenactments in the form of anthology dramatizations based on true events, vivid storytelling by storytellers, and expert analysis.

Joining as a storytelling corps are Jeon Hyun-moo, who is taking on his first thriller variety MC role, along with Kyuhyun, Naksal, and Heo Young-ji.

On this day, Jeon Hyun-moo revealed that he is currently hosting 11 fixed variety programs, yet expressed a special affection for this new thriller variety show.

Jeon Hyun-moo explained, "I think the content itself being close to our reality is its charm. There are thriller variety shows and programs that scare you with fabricated stories, which can be fun too, but this one deals with cases that are right here." He further added, "It is also a program that raises awareness from the perspective that we need to know about it and prepare for it," highlighting the program's unique points.

Jeon Hyun-moo said, "Even though I have 11 fixed shows, there's no way I wouldn't like this program because my Netflix algorithm is all thriller and horror. It's a genre I particularly love." He continued, "It's not an absurd story; it touches on real life, so it's very interesting."

Meanwhile, 'The Psychopath I Met' will premiere on the 12th at 10 p.m.
