Baseball commentator Lee Taek-geun delivered a fact bomb to his junior, Hwang Jae-gyun.

On the 15th episode of tvN's variety program 'You Quiz on the Block', TVING baseball commentators Hwang Jae-gyun, Yoon Seok-min, Jung Geun-woo, and Lee Taek-geun appeared, showcasing their bold and witty banter.

The segment, which has surpassed 100 million cumulative views and earned praise as a "high-quality comedy broadcast," featured not only behind-the-scenes insights from the commentators but also an unfiltered roast session among themselves.

On this day, Hwang Jae-gyun revealed that he had little in common with his three older brothers during his playing days, stating, "Taek-geun hyung and Geun-woo hyung were of different generations, and Seok-min hyung retired early, so there was no overlap." In response, Yoon Seok-min retorted with a laugh-inducing remark: "Sorry, but you just joined the national team late. It wasn't that I started early; it's that you bloomed late."

Lee Taek-geun recalled his time with Hwang Jae-gyun at Hyundai Unicorns, saying, "Back then, Jae-gyun was too young, and I was already in my mid-to-late career. He couldn't even look me in the eye."

Hwang Jae-gyun admitted, "At that time, I was 20 years old, and those were players I had only seen on TV — so I couldn't make eye contact; they seemed extraordinary to me."

Yoo Jae-suk then revealed with a laugh: "Commentator Lee Taek-geun thought Commentator Hwang Jae-gyun would quit baseball quickly because he wasn't good at it, but he stayed for a long time. Meanwhile, Commentator Hwang remembers Commentator Lee as someone who wasn't even good at baseball."

Hearing this, Lee Taek-geun became animated and asked Hwang Jae-gyun, "How much signing bonus did you receive?" He then added affectionately: "Jae-gyun was a player whose skills kept improving. At first, I wondered how long he would continue playing baseball, but he even made it to the Major Leagues. That's a human victory."
