Netflix's "D-LOVER" has announced Season 6 following its remarkable achievement of winning two awards at the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards, including Kim Sook's Best Variety Female Entertainer Award and Ju Woo-jae's Excellent Male Variety Entertainer Award.

Netflix's variety show "D-LOVER" is a program that captures the joys and sorrows of life as top 99% talents assemble without screws. With the powerful and diverse chemistry of members Kim Sook, Hong Jin-kyung, Cho Se-ho, Ju Woo-jae, and Jang Woo-young, this slightly goofy character variety show delivers a feast of laughter every week. It has built a solid fanbase by offering everything from game makeup penalties, travel challenges, mukbang sessions, to heartfelt talks and emotional moments. Following "Season 1: In Search of the Lost Screw," "Season 2: In Search of the Lost Handle," "Season 3: D-LOVER Disassembly Show," "Season 4: The Rival," and "Season 5: The Game of Death," it will mark a historic beginning with "Season 6: The Law of Survival" on August 8 at 11 a.m.

Among these, "D-LOVER Season 4: The Rival" was nominated in three categories at the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards, including Best Variety Work, and went on to win two awards—Kim Sook's Best Variety Female Entertainer Award and Ju Woo-jae's Excellent Male Variety Entertainer Award—generating significant buzz.

The reason "D-LOVER"'s wins are particularly special lies in its nickname: a variety show that survived hell. It is the story of adversity where members and production staff of a variety program, unfortunately canceled due to low ratings, reunited and revived as a Netflix variety show. When the cancellation was announced, fans unusually organized truck protests opposing the cancellation, signaling the revival of fan-driven variety content. In response to fans' continued support, the show returned on Netflix and immediately topped "Today's Top 10 Series" in South Korea upon its premiere, becoming the protagonist of another unexpected success story.

Having carved out its own destiny and written one chapter of its revival narrative at a time, "D-LOVER" is now announcing a new leap forward by proving its artistic merit through the 5th Blue Dragon Series Awards.

Ju Woo-jae, who won the Excellent Male Variety Entertainer Award for "D-LOVER: The Rival," began with, "I thought I had beaten everyone because my hyung Jae-seok was receiving the Popularity Star Award. But I didn't expect it would be me." He then expressed gratitude to the fans who supported D-LOVER and added, "I really like winning excellence awards. I don't feel like I'm the best, but I believe this is the highest award I can receive as someone who isn't a rookie. Every time my hyung Jae-seok says 'You're so rude,' I reflect on whether I actually am." His remarks drew laughter from the audience.

Kim Sook, who won the Best Variety Female Entertainer Award, appeared greatly flustered as she stepped onto the stage. She said, "I came straight from filming D-LOVER just before this ceremony and have to head out for another shoot immediately. I'm grateful to the members waiting for me." She continued, "Recently, we built a house, and bees constructed a honeycomb on my upper body that was as large as my torso. People around said it would bring great luck. It seems the bees came so I could receive such a big award." She added, "Senior Yoo Jae-suk and Senior Shin Dong-yup paved the way for me to win this award. Thank you very much."

After receiving their awards, both shared photos of a celebratory dinner with fellow D-LOVER members Hong Jin-kyung, Cho Se-ho, and Woo-young on social media, expressing their heartfelt gratitude.

Meanwhile, "D-LOVER Season 6: The Law of Survival" will premiere exclusively on Netflix on the 8th at 11 a.m.
