Comedian Kim Jung-ryeol revealed the reason he grew distant from Lee Kyung-gyu.

On the 8th, comedian Kim Jung-ryeol and Hwang Ki-soon appeared as guests on MBN's "Kim Ju-ha's Day & Night."

That day, Kim Jung-ryeol said about MBC comedy actors who were part of the first recruitment class, including Choi Yang-rak, Lee Kyung-gyu, Eom Young-soo, and Kim Bo-hwa: "I envy them. These individuals have great ideas. Many of the first-class recruits are still active. Out of 14 who started, seven are still performing."

When asked if he had grown distant from Lee Kyung-gyu, he replied, "It's not that our relationship worsened; at the time, Lee Kyung-gyu was filming the movie 'Revenge Battle.' There was a building back then, and he asked me to provide a guarantee."

He added, "I couldn't refuse, so I consulted with Seo Seung-man. He told me to say that we had bought it together with my father-in-law and mother-in-law but sold it. So, even though the property was jointly owned, I lied and said it had been sold."

Hearing this, Hwang Ki-soon remarked, "Back then, if you wanted to buy a car, you needed a guarantor. Then Jung-ryeol hyung told me exactly the same thing," which drew laughter from the audience.
