Broadcaster Ji Sang-ryul mentioned Lee Su-geun during the early days of '2 Days & 1 Night'.

In the JTBC variety program 'Knowing Bros' aired on the 29th, Lee Eun-kyl, Ji Sang-ryul, fromis_9's Park Ji-won, and Billy Tsuki appeared as guests.

That day, the members teased Ji Sang-ryul, saying, "Can't you talk while looking Hodo in the eyes?" Ji Sang-ryul replied, "Try being born as me. Even though we're friends, there should be at least one friend who makes you uncomfortable," eliciting laughter.

Seo Jang-hoon said about Ji Sang-ryul, "They say he's the Yoo Jae-suk of the pilot industry," adding, "He was an original member on all three shows: 'Happy Together,' '2 Days & 1 Night,' and 'Infinite Challenge.' He played a key role in making these programs famous, but then his career declined."

Kang Ho-dong recalled, "It was because of 'The Mountain Has Two Names.' He said he would adjust all his schedules to fit Ji Sang-ryul. I even had a two-hour private meeting with him. Yet, he remained focused on the drama."

Continuing, Kang Ho-dong added, "After that, I heard something else: they say Sang-ryul is Su-geun's guardian angel."

Ji Sang-ryul explained, "PD Na Young-seok consulted with me. He said Lee Su-geun seemed to be floating around aimlessly and wondered what to do. At the time, Sang-geun had a higher social media presence than Su-geun. So I suggested not cutting Su-geun but instead raising a dog that could speak up, since Sang-geun was also being kept in a similar position."

In response, Lee Su-geun refuted, "They wanted to cut me?" adding, "This is the first time I'm hearing this. I heard they were trying to get rid of you."

Ji Sang-ryul exclaimed angrily, "Is Na Young-seok a Count of Asura?" causing laughter.
