Actress Ha Ji-won revealed behind-the-scenes details of her film 'Bi-gwang', marking her screen return after six years.

On August 31, in the YouTube channel 'Sung Si-kyung's Man-nal Ten-de', Ha Ji-won, who made her second appearance on the show, visited Sung Si-kyung's home with co-star Kim Sun-young for a joyful meal. The menu featured aged Hanwoo beef and 'Dokju', a dish tailored to Kim Sun-young's preferences. Regarding her role, Ha Ji-won explained, "I played a character who transitions from a top star to a working actor in South America. It was a challenging role that allowed me to express new emotions and aspects as an actress."

She further shared an interesting behind-the-scenes detail: "For the first time, I bleached my hair and learned how to smoke. The director gifted me cigarettes of various types in a large shopping bag and took care to let me choose products that felt comfortable for me."

Regarding Kim Sun-young's performance, Ha Ji-won said, "She is such an excellent actress that I had complete trust in her abilities. In this film, she acted with even more enthusiasm than expected. Watching her perform so flexibly in such situations made me envious and eager to learn from her. It was incredibly happy to act alongside her." She expressed her 'respect' for Kim Sun-young.

When Sung Si-kyung mentioned Ha Ji-won's YouTube variety show '26th Grade Support-iyo', Ha Ji-won expressed satisfaction, stating, "I've always wanted to communicate with different generations, and this proposal was exactly what I was looking for." She added, "The students played well with me," expressing gratitude. She then revealed her 'Gen Z pride': "Kim Si-a, who plays my daughter in 'Bi-gwang', is actually a 26th-grade student. Since joining '26th Grade Support-iyo', she and I are the only ones who can have meaningful conversations." This comment filled the set with laughter.

During the cheerful conversation, an unexpected burst of laughter occurred. When Kim Sun-young said, "I contacted you via KakaoTalk profile because I didn't have your phone number," Ha Ji-won testified, "We exchanged contact information and actually communicated." This led to a bet between the two. Upon direct verification, Ha Ji-won's claim was confirmed as true, making her the winner of the bet. Kim Sun-young immediately downed a shot of 51-degree soju, accepting the result. The laughter continued as they engaged in a second round of truth-telling: Ha Ji-won claimed she received a promotional text message from Kim Sun-young about her performance, while Kim Sun-young denied sending any such message.

After finishing their meal in a warm and friendly atmosphere, Ha Ji-won concluded by saying about the film 'Bi-gwang', "It's a deep family story revolving around love, wounds, and forgiveness. I believe it will reach audiences as an attractive work that leaves a lasting impression," urging viewers to watch with warmth.

Meanwhile, the film 'Bi-gwang' is scheduled for release on September 2.
