Actor Chae Soobin (32) shared his thoughts on reuniting with the cast of "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo," including Park Bo-gum (33) and Kim Yoo-jung (27), for the first time in 10 years.

Chae Soobin conducted an interview with StarNews at a cafe in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 15th.

On this day, Chae Soobin mentioned his reunion with the team from the recently buzzed-about KBS 2TV drama "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" (hereinafter "Moon Lovers"). The work was broadcast in 2016 and starred Chae Soobin, Park Bo-gum, Kim Yoo-jung, Gwak Dong-yeon, and Jin Young. Having emerged as "trendsetting" stars, they gathered last month for the special variety show "Moon Lovers: Re-drawn Moonlight," marking the 10th anniversary of the drama's broadcast, delighting viewers.

Chae Soobin expressed his affectionate feelings, saying, "In fact, after finishing a project, life gets busy for everyone, so we don't get to see each other often. If we had only gathered for the broadcast after 10 years, it might not have worked out. But the 'Moon Lovers' team has been meeting consistently, and first of all, (Park) Bo-gum is someone who takes great care of things like this. And because we had times when we shared our worries together and grew, I think that's why we were able to do this special variety show."

In particular, Chae Soobin emphasized the unique significance, saying, "Above all, it feels like a real relief that none of us have been involved in any controversies for 10 years. We had time to look back while sharing how 'proud' we are that we all grew up well without causing any scandals," which drew laughter.

Not only that, the "Moon Lovers" team surprised netizens with their beauty unchanged from 10 years ago. Regarding this, Chae Soobin said, "Everyone really looks exactly the same. Nothing has changed. (Kim) Yoo-jung has become beautifully mature," adding, "We wore the exact same hanbok we had on back then and took photos, thinking 'Wow, it's already been 10 years.' We said, 'Let's gather again for our 20th anniversary,' but someone suggested, 'We should meet wearing hiking clothes.'"

He also shared his reflections on having accumulated a full 10 years of experience. Chae Soobin revealed his thoughtful mindset, saying, "I think I've become a bit too worried. In the past, I really just thought about doing my role well so as not to harm the work, focusing only on 'I must do my part diligently.' But now, worries have increased about how this work will reach viewers and how this character should be expressed. As experience accumulates, these days I find myself having many thoughts, but I am organizing my mind with the attitude of 'Don't overthink it, just do your best with what is given to you.'"

Meanwhile, Chae Soobin met audiences worldwide on the 9th through the 10th-episode Netflix original series "Charge Me Up." "Charge Me Up" is a romantic comedy about the electric and thrilling "charging" relationship between Baek Ho-rang (played by Kim Young-kwang), a chaebol third-generation heir whose artificial heart battery has run out, and Na Bo-bae (played by Chae Soobin), a drama writer with electrical abilities.
