Actor Yoo Hae-jin shared behind-the-scenes details about winning the Baeksang Arts Awards Grand Prize.

On the 16th, Yoo Hae-jin appeared on tvN's variety program 'You Quiz on the Block'.

That day, Yoo Hae-jin said about winning the Grand Prize for Film at the 62nd Baeksang Arts Awards for his role in the movie 'The Man Who Lives with a King': "I truly didn't expect it. Many people had seen and loved 'The Man Who Lives with a King' so much that I heard many say I would win Best Actor. With that mindset, I went to the awards ceremony."

He continued, "But I didn't win Best Actor. My mind was filled with countless thoughts. It felt like a blank slate. What worried me most was that after the event ended, I had planned to have a post-ceremony gathering with Director Jang Hang-jun, the cast, and the staff. I wondered how I should act there. I felt they would be watching my every move."

Yoo Hae-jin recalled the moment he won the Grand Prize: "I never even considered winning the Grand Prize. When my name was called, the camera unexpectedly came straight to me instead of approaching from the side. I thought the award for 'The Man Who Lives with a King' would go to the film itself. Goosebumps rose all over me. I truly couldn't believe it. Usually, when someone's name is announced, they walk out slowly, but that felt frustrating to me. So I ran out. That was the first time I experienced my mouth going completely dry. I couldn't even think of what to say in my acceptance speech."
