YouTuber “Honorary Briton” (real name Baek Jin-kyung) heightened anticipation for the appearance of her second child.

On the 7th, “Honorary Briton” posted a photo of a 3D ultrasound of her second child on her personal social media account.

She then stated, “GPT looked at the 3D ultrasound and said our ‘Cheese’ will probably look like this. We have seven weeks left, friends. I can’t wait to see Cheese soon.”

“Honorary Briton,” who married her British husband, three years younger than her, in 2023, is currently pregnant. Her expected due date is December, and the baby is a girl.

However, she recently became embroiled in suspicions of overseas birth after appearing on a YouTube channel and stating, “I plan to give birth in the UK, not Korea.”

In response, “Honorary Briton” expressed anger, asking, “Why is it such a big issue that I am giving birth in the UK? My husband is British, and I live in London. What are people who say ‘she’s doing it to get British citizenship’ thinking?”

She also made a candid statement: “The UK does not follow jus soli (right of the soil), so even if you give birth on British soil, one of the parents must be British for the child to obtain citizenship. The US follows jus soli. It is truly bizarre and terrible when people say things like ‘she’s doing it to get citizenship for a baby who is half Korean and half British.’”
