Former baseball player Hwang Jae-gyun was seen running away after encountering a monitor lizard.

In an episode of the SBS variety show 'Same Bed Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny' broadcast on the 13th, Lee Tae-geun, Jung Geun-woo, and Hwang Jae-gyun were shown visiting Yoon Seok-min's home.

On this day, the three men marveled at the size of the monitor lizard kept by Yoon Seok-min, which was larger than expected. However, upon seeing the lizard, Hwang Jae-gyun said he got goosebumps and expressed his aversion to it. Kim Goo-ra, who was watching, reacted by saying that Hwang Jae-gyun did not seem to like monitor lizards.

Yoon Seok-min encouraged Hwang Jae-gyun to place the monitor lizard on his hand. He reassured him that the lizard would not bite and would only be aggressive at first, but Hwang Jae-gyun struggled to muster the courage.

Subsequently, Yoon Seok-min repeatedly persuaded him, saying that he would feel nothing if he just held it in his hand for a moment. Nevertheless, Hwang Jae-gyun said he was getting goosebumps and fled from the monitor lizard.

Seeing this, Kim Suk expressed surprise, saying that Hwang Jae-gyun really seemed to hate monitor lizards. Yoon Seok-min also laughed, suggesting it might be too much for Hwang Jae-gyun.

In particular, Yoon Seok-min mentioned Hwang Jae-gyun's playing days, stating, "Wasn't (Hwang) Jae-gyun always the one who caused bench-clearing brawls during baseball games? He was involved in many of them as well." He then teased him by saying, "He is tough only when playing baseball, but he is very scared in front of a monitor lizard," eliciting laughter.
