Singer Ahn Seong-hoon expressed his gratitude to Song Ga-in, who changed the course of his life.

On the episode aired on the 15th on KBS 2TV's "New Product Launch: Bunjang Studio," Ahn Seong-hoon, the winner of TV Chosun's "Mr. Trot2," appeared as a new cooking partner.

That day, close friend and singer Song Ga-in visited Ahn Seong-hoon's home. The two revealed that they had formed a bond while at the same agency during their trainee days before debuting, and have maintained a special relationship like siblings for a long time.

Ahn Seong-hoon personally made rice balls for Song Ga-in. Rice balls held a unique significance for him. In the past, he had given up his dream of becoming a singer to support his livelihood by running a rice ball shop with his mother. However, he revealed that they ultimately closed down due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ahn Seong-hoon recalled that after seeing Song Ga-in's soaring success following her victory on "Miss Trot," he called her out of joy. At the time, Song Ga-in had encouraged Ahn Seong-hoon to challenge a trot audition program.

Recommended by Song Ga-in, Ahn Seong-hoon applied for the audition and unfortunately was eliminated in Season 1 of "Mr. Trot." However, without giving up, he challenged again in Season 2 and ultimately claimed the championship.

Hearing this, Kim Bo-min exclaimed, "Ga-in is a benefactor," while Lee Yeon-bok also said, "I should listen well even if my older sister nags me," eliciting laughter.

In particular, Ahn Seong-hoon shared his gratitude, saying, "As soon as I received my first settlement, I bought gifts for my parents and Ga-in-nuna first."

In response, Boom compared the grand prizes of the two winners' auditions, revealing, "Ahn Seong-hoon received a grand prize several times larger than Ga-in's. Song Ga-in's grand prize was 30 million won, while Ahn Seong-hoon received 500 million won," sparking surprise.

Meanwhile, Song Ga-in won the championship on TV Chosun's "Miss Trot" in 2019 and gained great popularity. Ahn Seong-hoon also established himself as a trot star by winning the championship on TV Chosun's "Mr. Trot2" in 2023.
