Actor Lee Gye-in revealed an anecdote about facing off against a swarm of hornets with his bare fists.

On the 17th, JTBC's variety show 'Knowing Bros' featured Lee Gye-in, Kim Yeon-ja, and Hyun-sook as guests for a "Kim Shin-young Family Special."

That day, Lee shared a harrowing experience of battling a swarm of hornets at his home.

Lee explained the situation at the time, saying, "I hadn't gone down to my house for about two weeks. When I opened the door and went in, I heard a strange sound. As soon as I looked, a hornet's nest about this size was falling."

He continued, "It was either the hornets inside the house got chased out, or I got chased out—one of the two." He added, "When I poked the hornet's nest with a fishing rod, a pitch-black swarm poured out."

However, Lee claimed that instead of running away, he faced the hornets head-on. He said, "In that moment, it wasn't a thought of fleeing or dying; I thought, 'You guys have run into me.'"

He then vividly reenacted the scene, stating, "I hit the ones flying straight at me with straight punches and punched the ones coming up from below with uppercuts. The ones I hit properly fell down, and I caught the ones that only grazed."

Lee revealed that while catching the hornets, he even thought about making liquor out of them. He explained, "I remembered how in the old days, people used to soak them in soju. I filled a container with liquor and started by catching the buzzing ones and putting them in."

He added, "The hornet liquor made that way is still at our house now," leaving everyone amazed.
