The remarkable journey of the late Jeon Yu-seong, who crossed genres from the comedy world to the music and magic industries, opening doors for countless people, was re-examined.

On the episode of KBS 2TV's "Immortal Songs" broadcast on the 7th, figures from various fields appeared, including singers Yang Hee-eun, Han Young-ae, and Kwon In-ha, magician Lee Eun-gyeol, and junior comedians, as they recalled their special connections with the late comedian.

Jeon Yu-seong was a figure who made a mark on Korea's comedy industry as the founder of KBS 2TV's "Gag Concert." He not only paved the way for numerous junior comedians but also took the lead in pioneering new performance cultures.

His influence did not remain confined to the comedy world. His unique network and warm consideration were also evident in the music industry. Renowned singers, including Yang Hee-eun, who had maintained a 55-year friendship with him, as well as Han Young-ae and Kwon In-ha, gathered together to pay tribute to the late comedian.

In particular, Jeon Yu-seong was reported to have served as a reliable supporter by providing opportunities for junior singers in their early careers to perform on stage.

Jeon Yu-seong's presence was also remarkable in the magic world. He sponsored the first domestic magic competition and established the "Jeon Yu-seong Award," dedicating efforts to cultivating talent in magic.

His connection with magician Lee Eun-gyeol was beyond imagination. Jeon Yu-seong once suddenly proposed to Lee, asking, "Do you want to go to the Himalayas? Would you like to do a congratulatory performance at a hospital opening ceremony?"

Surprisingly, this was not just a joke. Jeon Yu-seong contributed to the construction of "Toto White Hospital" in Chepurlung, Nepal's Himalayas, and actually visited the local opening ceremony together with Lee Eun-gyeol.

Lee Eun-gyeol also recalled how Jeon Yu-seong proudly mentioned that he had personally arranged for most of the materials needed for the hospital construction to be brought directly from Korea.

In response, MC Shin Dong-yeop expressed his admiration, noting that Jeon Yu-seong never left his brilliant ideas as mere imagination but always turned them into reality.

Lee Eun-gyeol revealed on this day that he was the person who accompanied Jeon Yu-seong on their last outing before his passing, and prepared a special tribute magic act for the late comedian.

He asked the audience what single descriptor would best represent Jeon Yu-seong, who crossed boundaries between various fields without limits. One audience member answered, "A mother I miss."

Shin Dong-yeop was then asked what he would like to say if he could send a letter to Jeon Yu-seong. Shin replied, "Brother, please give my regards to our parents," bringing a sense of emotional warmth.

However, a surprising twist unfolded shortly after. When Lee Eun-gyeol opened a box locked with multiple padlocks, a letter appeared inside. Remarkably, the letter contained exactly the descriptor "A mother I miss" mentioned by the audience member earlier and the message conveyed by Shin Dong-yeop.

Lee Eun-gyeol left behind his longing for the late comedian by folding a photo taken with Jeon Yu-seong into the shape of a butterfly and releasing it to fly away.

In addition to showcasing various magic acts, Lee Eun-gyeol previewed a magic act called "Snowflakes" at the end. At that moment, Kim Shin-young, a disciple of Jeon Yu-seong, made a surprise appearance from behind the stage as "Second Aunt Kim Dabi," performing a special show.
