Thanks to 'Assassin(s)', actor Lee Min-ho was able to enjoy being the youngest among his castmates.

On the morning of the 10th, a press conference for the film 'Assassin(s)' took place at Seoul Yongsan-gu CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall, attended by director Heo Jin-ho and actors Yu Hae-jin, Park Hae-il, and Lee Min-ho.

The film 'Assassin(s)' tells the story of investigating the suspicions and figures behind the assassination attempt on First Lady Yuk Young-soo that occurred on August 15, 1974. It is the latest work from director Heo Jin-ho, who previously directed films such as 'Christmas in August', 'Princess Deokhye', 'Ogamdo', 'Happiness', 'Outing', and 'Spring Day'.

Yu Hae-jin plays Detective Cheol-gu, a middle-aged detective driven by an unyielding pursuit of truth and deep conviction. Park Hae-il portrays Jae-hwan, the head of the social affairs department at a newspaper who relentlessly uncovers the truth behind the incident despite numerous instances of censorship and external pressure. Lee Min-ho plays Young-il, a rookie reporter at Dongseong Ilbo, portrayed as someone united by passion and determination.

On this day, regarding his character Young-il, Lee Min-ho said, "He is a person who enters the newsroom while pursuing his own convictions and the value of truth." He added, "I tried to act with the feeling of experiencing each moment, which made every situation feel real, allowing me to perform freely," expressing high satisfaction with his performance.

He then joked, "It's not easy for someone my age to be the youngest among colleagues, but I'm grateful to have acted alongside senior actors this time," drawing laughter from the audience.

Furthermore, he shared that while Young-il grew up in a very good environment with integrity, he is also a character who yearns for something unfulfilled deep within his heart, revealing the emotional challenges he encountered while portraying the role.

Meanwhile, 'Assassin(s)' is scheduled to be released in theaters during the upcoming Chuseok holiday.
