Japanese actor Mitsueda Shunsuke shared his excitement about making his debut at the Busan International Film Festival, while previewing a new acting transformation that overturns his existing image through the film "Beautiful Twilight Moon."

On the 8th, a press conference was held for "Beautiful Twilight Moon," which was invited to the Open Cinema section of the 31st Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), at the press conference hall of the Cinema Hall of the Busan Film Archive in Haeundae-gu, Busan.

Director Takemura Kenta and actors Mitsueda Shunsuke and Anzai Seira attended the event to discuss the work.

"Beautiful Twilight Moon," a live-action adaptation of the popular manga of the same name, depicts the story that unfolds as Yoi (played by Anzai Seira), a high school girl called a "prince," meets another "prince," Kohaku (played by Mitsueda Shunsuke), and begins a romance.

Regarding his impressions of visiting the Busan International Film Festival, Mitsueda said, "I am truly happy to be in Busan. The Busan International Film Festival was a place I dreamed of visiting someday, like a dream, so I am glad that dream has come true."

He added, "Since it is a beautiful love story, I hope the audience will enjoy watching it."

Mitsueda said, "I played a character with an image somewhat different from the roles I have taken on in the past," adding, "I think it is acting that can overturn my existing image. I hope you feel that 'Mitsueda can do this kind of thing too.'"

He further added, "I also put a lot of thought into expressing the push-and-pull emotions between Kohaku and Yoi," noting, "I would appreciate it if you could pay attention to those aspects as well."
