Actress Kim Hyeon-ju expressed her affection for Jin Sun-kyu and Lee Mu-saeng, whom she worked with in 'The 100-Day Lie'.

On the 16th, we met with actress Kim Hyeon-ju, who starred in the film 'Paradise Lost' (directed by Yeon Sang-ho), at a cafe on Samcheong-ro in Jongno-gu, Seoul, and discussed various aspects of her work.

'Paradise Lost' is a psychological thriller that begins when Ryu So-young (played by Kim Hyeon-ju), a mother who lost her son nine years ago in a camping school bus disappearance incident, is miraculously reunited with her son, Ryu Sun-woo (played by Bae Hyun-sung), whom she had believed to be dead.

Following the role of Ryu So-young in 'Paradise Lost', Kim Hyeon-ju took on the role of Yoo So-ran in the tvN 20th Anniversary Special Project drama 'The 100-Day Lie', which premiered on the 10th, meeting audiences and viewers with entirely different personas on screen and at home.

On this day, Kim Hyeon-ju spoke about the actors she worked with in 'The 100-Day Lie', saying, "I really like them. They are such lovely people," adding, "I am a person blessed with good fortune. I have met many good friends."

She continued, "New friends who will meet me in the future might feel disappointed hearing this, but I am not actually the type to make friends easily," and stated, "It seems I have met such wonderful people that I no longer need to make new lifelong friends."

In particular, Kim Hyeon-ju revealed the story of how she became friends with same-age actor Jin Sun-kyu. Previously, Jin Sun-kyu had posted a photo of himself with Kim Hyeon-ju on his social media, referring to her as "my friend Hyeon-ju."

In response, Kim Hyeon-ju said, "I also sent 'My friend Sun-kyu' via KakaoTalk. But I didn't know that (Jin) Sun-kyu had posted the photo himself," and laughed. She added, "It seems good that we became friends with each other. First of all, since we are from the same generation, we have similar things to share."

However, she noted, "Being the same age does not automatically make one a friend," explaining, "Mr. Lee Mu-saeng is younger than me, but I consider him a friend. Our sensibilities match well."

Kim Hyeon-ju shared how she grew close to the two actors, saying, "You know Mr. Jin Sun-kyu's personality. I am not the type to open up first, but because he opened up to me first, I think I was able to get closer as well."

Additionally, Kim Hyeon-ju expressed surprise at the enthusiastic viewer response to the so-called "adult romance" she shared with Lee Mu-saeng in 'The 100-Day Lie'. She stated, "I did not expect them to be this interested. I had affection for our couple, but I did not anticipate receiving such a huge amount of attention."

She continued, "It would be great if you could look forward to more going forward. There is still much story left to tell. I will stop the story here," urging anticipation for future developments.
