Actor Kim Yoon-seok praised his junior co-star, Koo Kyo-hwan, calling him "Peter Pan."

On the morning of the 30th, a production report event for the film "Heavy Snow" (directed by Hong Ui-jeong and Park Sun-woo) was held at CGV Yongsan i-Park Mall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. Attending the event were actors Kim Yoon-seok and Koo Kyo-hwan, as well as director Hong Ui-jeong.

"Heavy Snow" is a mystery drama that unfolds when a mysterious corpse is discovered before Gap-su (Kim Yoon-seok), a stationmaster nearing retirement, and Hyun-taek (Koo Kyo-hwan), his new successor, at a rural train station isolated by heavy snowfall.

Regarding the reason for choosing the project, Koo Kyo-hwan stated, "I really love winter. Merry Christmas," adding, "After reading this work, I thought I wanted to act in this text."

Koo Kyo-hwan said, "Of course, I wanted to work with the director and production team, but I especially wanted to work with senior (Kim) Yoon-seok." He continued, "We met through 'Mogadishu.' At that time, I learned a lot and got to eat many delicious things for free. I wanted to work together again this time," expressing his affection.

Speaking about Koo Kyo-hwan, Kim Yoon-seok said, "Hyeon-gwan is like Peter Pan. Even now, if he just takes off his glasses, he is Peter Pan." He added, "Personally, I like people who retain a childlike wonder, both as individuals and as actors. Those kinds of people still have that childlike wonder even when they become 70s or 80s."

Kim Yoon-seok shared, "I first met Hyeon-gwan in Morocco while filming 'Mogadishu.' The moment I saw him, I felt his childlike wonder. I realized he is a person who lives while keeping a child's heart, so we became close quickly. We became very close without any formalities. Since then, even when we met after several years following the end of 'Mogadishu,' it felt as comfortable as if we had just met yesterday. This time, although we worked hard during filming again, he is a person who makes that hardship feel very fun."

Host Park Kyung-rim asked Koo Kyo-hwan, "What do you want to say in response to the praise of being called Peter Pan?" To this, Koo Kyo-hwan retorted, "Senior Kim Yoon-seok is Tinker Bell. Or maybe Wendy?" This was a bold move by Koo Kyo-hwan, labeling him as "Tinker Bell" after senior Kim Yoon-seok had praised him as a "Peter Pan" with childlike wonder.

As the slightly flustered Kim Yoon-seok laughed, Park Kyung-rim pointed out, "Your expression changed when you heard 'Tinker Bell.'" In response, Kim Yoon-seok gave a hearty laugh, saying, "(Hyeon-gwan) says things that don't make sense."

Meanwhile, "Heavy Snow" is scheduled for release on November 18.
