BTS's Jimin's 'Filter' has surpassed 1 billion on-demand streams, showcasing its global popularity.

'Filter,' a track from BTS's fourth full-length album 'Map of the Soul: 7' released in 2020 and also a solo song by Jimin, has exceeded 1 billion on-demand audio streams worldwide, proving its global appeal.

On-demand streaming refers to user-initiated streaming where listeners directly search for or select desired tracks on music platforms, representing an active form of streaming that strongly reflects user preferences. Major services such as Spotify and Apple Music fall under this category.

Additionally, 'Filter' surpassed 500 million streams on Spotify, the world's largest music platform, last January and is currently recording 511 million streams. The track is also the third most-streamed song from the 'Map of the Soul: 7' album, following the title track 'ON' and the pre-release single 'Black Swan.'

On Melon, the song has recorded 136.8 million streams, the highest among all solo songs credited to BTS members. On YouTube, despite being an audio track rather than a music video, it has accumulated 134.7 million views. It has also surpassed 630,000 listens on Shazam, a global music search app, maintaining steady popularity both domestically and internationally.

Meanwhile, Jimin's 'Filter' reached number one on the iTunes charts in 119 countries and regions worldwide in July 2024, achieving an 'all-kill.' With this achievement, BTS became the first group to secure the number one spot on the iTunes Top Songs chart globally across all countries.
