Group TREASURE is making a comeback.

According to YG Entertainment (hereinafter YG) on the 1st, TREASURE will return with their fourth mini-album 'New Wave (NEW WAV)' on this day. This album already surpassed 1 million pre-orders as of the 30th of last month. As a special album marking the second act of the group's activities, it signals a clear path toward achieving million-seller status.

'New Wave' has drawn great expectations as it is TREASURE's first album in which all tracks are filled with hip-hop-based beats, a bold strategic move. YG's Chief Producer Yang Hyun-suk also took the lead personally, overseeing all tracks to enhance their quality.

The album includes a total of four tracks: the title track 'If I (IF I)', which conveys strong confidence in reaching higher places; 'Zoom Zoom (ZOOM ZOOM)', which captures the speed of moments lost in emotion; 'Nally-Na (HYUNHAYO)', featuring the explosive energy of the rap unit members Choi Hyun-seok, Haruto, and Yoshi, whose fan-given nickname was officially adopted as the unit's activity name; and 'Danger (DANGER)', which portrays the dangerous emotions of love.

As a turning point in the group's activities, a major shift in TREASURE's musical world has also been anticipated. The previously released teaser content, with its stylish and intense black-and-white tone, exuded an extraordinary aura, imprinting TREASURE's radical transformation and deepened charisma.

The group's resolute determination to don the hip-hop swagger that is YG's foundation and fully open the door to a completely new second act was also conveyed to music fans. In fact, the music video trailer for the title track 'If I' broke through 11 million views on YouTube at an unusually fast pace, despite not being the official music video.

Meanwhile, following the comeback, TREASURE will hold 'TREASURE The Stage 2026 New Wave: Live in Seoul' from the 19th to the 21st for three days at Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. Starting in Seoul, the group will embark on a total of eight cities and 20 shows across Osaka, Kanagawa, Hyogo, Aichi, Fukui, Fukuoka, and Tokyo in Japan, meeting with global fans.
