Singer Kim Keon-mo returns to the public with a completely new image.

Kim Keon-mo will release his new single "Where Are You Going?" through major online music sites at 6 p.m. on the 1st. This is his first official new song released exactly 10 years after his 2016 25th-anniversary debut album "50."

"Where Are You Going?" is a remake of the title track from singer Jeon Young-ui's 1977 debut album. The arrangement is minimal, with instrumentation kept to a minimum while preserving the lyrical melody of the original as much as possible, highlighting Kim Keon-mo's characteristic plain yet deep voice.

The most notable change in this new song is undoubtedly the instruments. Putting aside the long-embedded public image of "Kim Keon-mo playing the piano," he stands before the microphone for the first time in his music career, playing the acoustic guitar himself.

This song is one Kim Keon-mo has practiced on the guitar alone for a long time and sung countless times, fully containing his autobiographical confession of the past years spent comforting and encouraging himself.

The original composer Lee Hyun-seop and lyricist Lee Kyung-mi, a married couple, expressed their overwhelming joy, saying, "It feels like an unexpected gift" regarding the rebirth of this timeless classic.

Ahead of the song's release, Kim Keon-mo also shared his heartfelt thoughts, saying, "Since this is the first song I have sung while playing the guitar, I hope it becomes an opportunity to show many people a 'new Kim Keon-mo,'" expressing his deep appreciation to listeners who have waited for so long.
