BTS's "Life Goes On" music video has surpassed 600 million views.

The music video for "Life Goes On," the title track from BTS's seventh mini-album "BE" (Deluxe Edition), released in 2020, exceeded 600 million views on YouTube at approximately 12:34 a.m. on the 12th.

Directed by member Jung-kook, the video is filled with warmth throughout, from scenes of the members going about their simple daily lives to moments where they sing the song calmly. It gently captures the regret and longing of not being able to meet fans directly due to the coronavirus pandemic. Elements such as a bicycle covered in dust and a scene of singing in an empty concert hall convey the reality that everything has come to a standstill, moving viewers deeply.

"Life Goes On" is a song that conveys a message of comfort: "Even so, life goes on," despite facing situations where one must stop after running hard. The track has surpassed 1.03 billion cumulative streams on the global audio and music streaming platform Spotify as of July 12. Notably, it reached the 1st-billion-stream milestone with lyrics primarily in Korean.

It also set a milestone in the global music market. The song topped Billboard's main song chart, "Hot 100," on December 5, 2020, and remained on the chart for three weeks. At the time, it was significant as the only song with predominantly Hangul lyrics to reach the top spot in Billboard's 62-year history.

Meanwhile, BTS holds numerous music videos with hundreds of millions of views across global mega-hit songs, including "Dynamite" (2.1 billion views), "Boy With Luv (Feat. Halsey)" (1.9 billion views), "DNA" (1.6 billion views), "MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)" (1.5 billion views), "FAKE LOVE" and "IDOL" (each 1.3 billion views), and "Butter" (1 billion views).
