Girl group BBGIRLS has previewed a refreshing summer energy.

BBGIRLS (Min-young, Eun-ji, Yuna) will release their new single "BODY WAVE" through various online music platforms at 6 p.m. on the 16th.

"BODY WAVE" is the group's first new song in approximately one year and two months since they released the remake track "Wish List" in May 2025. The track blends refreshing tropical synth sounds with an intense Bomba rhythm, capturing flexible yet explosive energy like crashing waves. Additionally, sensual brass sounds and the members' cool vocals amplify the song's refreshing vibe. Intuitive lyrics that seem to flow through the entire body and highly addictive performances are also key viewing points.

Notably, member Min-young participated in all aspects of the new single production, demonstrating exceptional capabilities. She not only served as a co-producer but also directly contributed to lyric writing, chorus sessions, and casting for cameos in the music video, enhancing the overall quality. Members Eun-ji and Yuna also actively participated in assembling the staff team for the new song. With members involved from the planning stage through all production phases, BBGIRLS' musical identity and authenticity are more vividly reflected in this release.

The music video was directed by BOK of 815VIDEO, a video production company known for its sensual direction. The combination of BBGIRLS' mature visuals and sophisticated cinematography creates an atmosphere reminiscent of watching a refreshing summer film. The identity of the previously teased surprise cameo further heightens anticipation for the full version.
