Boy group NCT WISH (NCT Wish) has firmly captured the Japanese archipelago.

Released on the 15th, NCT WISH's single 'YO-I-DON! / BOY MEETS GIRL' topped the Oricon Daily Single Chart on the 17th, confirming the group's intense popularity as a 'confident trend.'

Additionally, on the 18th, NCT WISH appeared on TBS's representative Japanese music special program 'Music Day 2026,' which featured artists spanning various genres and generations. Sharing the stage with TRF, a popular Japanese group that originally performed the double title track 'BOY MEETS GIRL,' they delivered a performance filled with their signature refreshing energy, instantly captivating viewers and completing a special collaboration that transcended generations.

'BOY MEETS GIRL,' which reinterprets TRF's 1994 hit song with NCT WISH's lively atmosphere, has received positive responses. The track blends the original's warm and nostalgic sentiment with energetic synth bass, house drums, and an emotional piano melody, while a newly added rap section adds fresh charm.

Furthermore, on this day, member Riku also appeared on the 'DREAM Dance Project' stage prepared by Japanese dance performance group s**t kingz. Gathering with various local artists, he captivated audiences by performing to the songs 'slow burn' and 'Ikenai Taiyo.'

To commemorate the release of their Japanese single 'YO-I-DON! / BOY MEETS GIRL,' NCT WISH is currently conducting a large-scale outdoor promotion in the Shibuya area until the 28th, featuring the members' diverse visuals.
