Daniel, formerly of the group NewJeans, shared his recent activities.

On the 22nd, Daniel posted on Instagram with a photo and the message: "Even when life sometimes becomes cloudy, light always finds its way again. Until then, please keep shining. With gratitude always."

The released photo shows Daniel looking at the camera against a backdrop of blue sky and a lake. He completed a casual style by pairing a blue-collar zip-up knit with a baseball cap.

Earlier that day, NewJeans sparked discussion by releasing full-group content featuring all four members, including Minji, to mark their fourth debut anniversary. This marks the first time in one year and four months that NewJeans has presented full-group content.

NewJeans had been in conflict with their agency, Adore, following the dismissal of former CEO Min Hee-jin, and declared termination of their exclusive contract through a press conference in November 2024. However, the court ruled in favor of Adore, placing restrictions on their activities.

Subsequently, members Haerin and Hyein returned to the agency last November, and one month later in December, Hanni also rejoined. Adore stated regarding Minji that they are "currently negotiating positively," while Daniel was expelled.

Adore notified Daniel of contract termination, judging that he bore significant responsibility for triggering the NewJeans exclusive contract dispute and delaying members' departures and returns. Currently, Adore is pursuing a 33.1 billion won damages lawsuit against Daniel, his family, and Min Jeon (CEO).
